Swissport has appointed Steven Polman as Senior Vice President of Global Cargo


  • Swissport has appointed Stefan Polmans as its new Vice President of Global Cargo, bringing more than 20 years of experience to the role.
  • He will lead global shipping operations, drive strategy, and advance Swissport’s innovation agenda as it targets significant growth. Polmans has previously led major efforts to transform the shipping sector and is expected to strengthen the company’s position as a global player in air freight.

Swissport, the global aviation services company, has appointed Stefan Polmans as Global Senior Vice President of Cargo, reporting directly to the Head of Global Cargo.

With more than two decades of experience in the airline industry and a proven track record in developing and implementing effective cargo strategies, Polman will oversee Swissport’s global air cargo operations. In this role, he will focus on driving the company’s global cargo strategy, enhancing commercial performance, and strengthening Swissport’s position as an innovative, value-added partner in the air cargo value chain.
