Death of Marcoy the Goat: Tik Tok star known for his comedy videos dies aged 24
Tik Tok star Marquis de Vizi, best known for sharing funny scenes and challenges, has died at the age of 24.
His mother, Sonja Collins, said in an Instagram post on Wednesday (Nov. 26) that her son, real name Marco Collins, “is no longer with me.”
“My heart is broken, my baby, my last baby, my singabug, my Marco is no longer here with me,” she wrote. “I needed him more than God.”
She added that her son was “the sweetest person and there was not a bone in his body.”
He added: “He spoiled me and his father Elsie, he always said because we spoiled him.”
In another post, she wrote: “I love him and miss him, my heart is broken, one day he will be better, but I still miss my son Marcoy.” The cause of death was not mentioned.
Collins’ brother Michael Fraser also posted on Facebook and TikTok about his death: “I lost my little brother today…and it’s an emotional feeling I’ve never felt before.”
“But from the bottom of my soul I appreciate the love you all give my brother and show me, my mother, my father and my family… I will get to the messages soon.”
Collins, also known as Helicopter Man to his fans, was a popular content creator with nearly 7 million followers on the platform, often talking about food reviews, challenges and his love for fast cars.
He also produced material with his parents, his father Elsie and his mother Sonja. In one video posted on TikTok, she went for a manicure on her mother’s birthday and in another she played the viral game “Guess the Object”.
Her latest TikTok video, posted on Tuesday (November 25), was a funny one where she reviewed different body lotions for her feet.
“Rest in peace big brother, we love you,” one fan wrote under the post.
A native of Columbus, Ohio, Collins graduated from Shaw High School and attended Georgia State University in Atlanta, according to Fox 5 Atlanta.
She started posting on TikTok in March 2019 and has since successfully built her following.
