While brainstorming with the editorial team for this year’s gift guide, Gut Shakira, Image Magazine Love columnist Holding court in the stars, he immediately responded “Luxury dental care for life.” And I’m with him. When thinking about what I wanted, the things that immediately came to mind were close to necessities: student loan forgiveness, a new personal laptop, therapy.
But this is a gift guide for you, our readers, and it’s written with fun—that means cheering, making noise, dancing until the lights come on—in mind. What would we want if basic needs didn’t matter? What if we didn’t have a care in the world? Permission to imagine may be the greatest gift of all.
