Founded in 1962, the Maritime Shipping Association brings together journalists, supply chain professionals and public relations professionals in the logistics and transportation industry. The association hosts the Diversity Champion, the Champion of New Writing Talent, and the Seahorse Journalist Awards, which are open to media professionals who report on the supply chain worldwide.

This year’s awards ceremony and Christmas party took place at the lively Mr. Fogg City Tavern on London’s Broadgate Circle, bringing together the media and industry community to honor the voices of shipping journalism – from air and sea freight to sustainability and technology.

“It was a great honor to be recognized last night at the Seahorse Freight Association Journalists Awards. I thank the Seahorse Board for providing this great event, and the judging panel for this award. Air Freight Week continues to go from strength to strength in recent years, and this recognition is testament to that progress,” said Edward Hardy.

I am very proud to have been named the winner – Journalist of the Year – at the Seahorse Journalist Awards last night. Anastasia Simsek said: “Thank you so much to everyone who shared their time, ideas and stories with me this year – I’ve learned so much from this amazing industry. Really proud to be a part of Air Cargo Week and such an amazing and hard-working community.”
