Yoshinobu Yamamoto introduces his rescue dog to Dodgers fans

World Series MVP Yoshinobu Yamamoto introduced fans to an important member of his family.

In a series of photos filled with cuteness from his skinny baby, the Dodger pitcher showed off his best friend Carlos on Instagram over the weekend.

“He is gentle and likes the slow life,” Yamamoto wrote in his letter. Post. “He likes to sleep, walk and eat well.”

In addition to a series of healthy photos of Carlos holding his dad, wearing sunglasses and relaxing, Pitcher also included a video of him meeting his future K9 for the first time in August.

“I’m really happy that Carlitos is with me now,” he added.

The two-time World Series winner chose him from Best Friends LA, which responded to his post that Carlos was a fan favorite at their location — loved by staff and volunteers.

“We are so happy that Carlos has found such a happy home with you,” Best Friend’s LA Instagram account commented on Yamamoto’s post.

Yamamoto joined the Dodgers after signing a 12-year, $325 million deal through 2023. Since joining them, he has won consecutive championships.

Carlos was once seen on social media playing with National League MVP Shohei Ohtani’s famous dog, Decoy.

Decoy was featured on a Dodgers bobblehead, participated in two World Series parades, threw out the first pitch at Dodger Stadium and co-wrote a children’s book.

Here’s hoping Carlitos gets his arm warmed up for the upcoming official first pitch at Chavez Ravine.
